More about Terato tech at Great here: Great 2014 With Terato
We are a week away from the Great 2014 event. So it might be cool if we share with you profile of the tutors during the the 4 days courses (2 days per-course of course).
Rapid 3D Prototyping by Chailise Kye Li
Rapid prototyping is a group of techniques used to quickly fabricate a scale model of a physical part or assembly using three-dimensional computer aided design (CAD) data. Construction of the part or assembly is usually done using 3D printing or "additive layer manufacturing" technology. (From Wikipedia of course).
Anyway Chaili, our 3D master will all help you to learn how to model and design using Blender (or Sketchup) and printing some cool and awesome 3d stuff out of it. She will keep it simple and sweet for you. Just bring your laptop and open mind.
Mobile App Development by Helmi Hasan Baraja
Helmi is a Senior Software Enginner at Terato Tech Sdn Bhd. An Indoneisan native – can speak javanese also (monggo!) - has spent almost 5 years in Malaysia. He’s been with Terato Tech since he was an Intern here back on 2009.
He is taking care of awesome Banking and government applications that you might see in app store / google play. He also like to do R&D, some of them are MyKad Reader, EMV Reader, Health/Fitness and social networking applications. Been around invited by local universities to give talk and tutor in developing mobile applications, so we don't think he will have any problem helping you to kickstart your journey as an app developer.
Mobile Game Development by Shahrizar Roslan
So we guess most of the Android gamers have played games like Galaxy Chase and Where's My Chicken before. Both games downloaded million times by users and still two most popular games on Android created by Malaysian. Well, Malaysia boleh!
Shahrizar will certainly help you understand the mobile game market and how to successfully get your games enough attention and downloads that will drive your revenue.
Anyway, as the Founder / CEO / Lead Designer of Accurve Studio, and a Physics graduate who worked as an Operations Manager in an Industrial Consultancy Company turned into a Video Game Designer, he should have a lot in mind to share with you.
